C H Contracting have recently purchased new VMS (Variable Message Signs) enabling us to have remote access to keep the public aware of the latest information required. We are able to access the VMS remotely from our PC or smart phone so they can be updated at any time. Our VMS can accommodate 8 lines of text, up to 20 characters per line. These VMS are also able to offer Radar Speed Detection. A message will display as normal until the pre-set speed limit is exceeded which will then trigger the warning message. The VMS are able to log this data and working in conjunction with the radar, statistics are collected on vehicle speed and can be then generated in a graph format.
C H Contracting have taken delivery of their new Impact Protection Vehicle commissioned and built by Blakedale featuring a Blade Crash Cushion. The Crash Cushion will be available to hire with a fully qualified driver for use with your works or as part of a whole Traffic Management package to install, maintain and remove your lane closures.
