Jenson Button's festive Frome blast

In December 2013, we enabled a very special surprise Christmas visit from Jenson Button, who paraded his McLaren Mercedes F1 race car through his hometown of Frome.

For the night of the Somerset town’s Christmas light switch-on, its high street was transformed into a Monaco strip for the Formula 1 driver’s spectacular street ride, thanks to Santander, and careful road management and signage.

We worked closely with Frome Town Council and Highways to plan for and install Frome town centre’s diversions and signage, prior to and during the event.

Jenson Button’s high octane arrival that night made for an unforgettable experience in Frome – needless to say, a repeat performance now features top of our Christmas list every year!
